Story Land 2018

We recently came back from our fourth annual trip to Story Land! Our family of 6 and the Rountree family spent the whole day enjoying the rides and attractions at Story Land. They even had some new things to enjoy this year like the Daniel Tiger’s Grr-ific Day show!

Last year, our youngest was only a couple months old when we went to Story Land, so he slept the entire time in our Free To Grow Tula. This year, he was more alert and able to enjoy a few rides like the Carousel and Eggs-Traordinary Farm Tractors ride. He did spend most of his time chillin’ in our Anchors Tula though!

I was happy there were rides I could go on while wearing the baby in the Tula Baby Carrier. He really enjoyed the Carousel ride. I was able to sit on one of the large benches while the older kids rode the horses.

Carousel selfie… nailed it.

We also got to enjoy story time at Mother Goose Manor for the first time! Every other time we’ve been to Story Land we missed Mother Goose but this time we ended up arriving there at just the right time.

Mother Goose was the most adorable little old lady you’ve ever seen and the kids were absolutely enchanted by her presence. They couldn’t take their eyes off of her as she read Humpty Dumpty to them!

Baby also enjoyed the Little Dreamer’s Play Area, watching his siblings on Alice’s Tea Cups ride and looking at all the Storybook Animals like the goats, chickens, pigs, sheep, and ducks! Quack Quack!

My 4 year old was able to go on a lot more rides this year (and he was braver than last year too!) like Bamboo Chutes (which he loved so much he went on twice!), Dr. Geyser’s Remarkable Raft Ride and the Eggs-traordinary Tractor Ride.

When we first arrive, we always head right into the park and hit up Grandfather Tree first. The kids love going down the slides and it gets our day off to a great start!
